Next-Gen NLP Email Filtering for eFa5
We're actively developing a one-click, interactive installation script for our new openSpacy-Guardian engine—a powerful, modular email filtering system built with NLP and designed to enhance the capabilities of eFa version 5.
This system is already deployed and running alongside our existing mail filter, fully integrated with MariaDB/MySQL, and delivering impressive results.
Each module addresses a specific layer of email analysis—from linguistic cues and header anomalies to scam detection and language handling. Together, they form a highly flexible engine that can evaluate emails from multiple perspectives and assign precise scores.
The biggest challenge right now is determining which modules should be included by default in the install script and how each one maps into eFa’s scoring and quarantine logic. As any eFa admin knows, a small change in score or rule can mean the difference between delivered, flagged, or quarantined.
Despite the complexity, the results speak for themselves. The integration of SpaCy NLP with eFa5 is already proving to be a strong pairing. It's helping to block sophisticated phishing attempts and classify messages that would otherwise fly under the radar of traditional spam filters.
We're calling this project openSpacy-Guardian
, and it’s shaping up to be a valuable evolution of the eFa filtering stack.
If you're building something similar—or you're fighting unique challenges in the world of email security—we’d love to hear from you. Feedback, suggestions, and collaboration are always welcome.
